Dark and Imaginable

First Thoughts:
I picked this book up on a day that was dark and all it wanted to be is cold and rainy and let me tell you this book added in the creep factor. It was dark and well described; the scenes seemed to have a mind of their own. Now don’t take this the wrong way but I usually have a hard time getting through horror type books and this by any means isn’t a horror book but it has a feel of one. The way the author chose to describe the main focus of the book made the feel of it much darker and creepy. But also the beginning of this book didn’t really draw me in, to be honest I really didn’t like the main character, she complained way too much and she had a personality that I usually in real life shy away from but yet I continued reading and the more I read and Dex was introduced my liking of the main character changed, she started showing sides of her I didn’t know she had and I was able to finally let her in. I became so intrigued with the storyline that I just wanted to keep reading and once I got past the beginning of the book I was able to read at a much more enjoyable and faster pace. I would gauge though this isn’t a high thriller pace it does have a sense of action packed and fast pace, so much was introduced in this book; so many ideas and problems, I liked the fact that there were problems set up in just the right spots to be resolved in the next books, it definitely left me yearning for more. The Plot of the book was good, there were all the required elements and everything that needed to be there was there and there was even a great subplot in this book, I really enjoyed reading about how her old life and her new life were intercepting, it really brought in a whole new level and feel to the book. Not many books are able to bring the past and the future together to create the present but in this book you could see it. As for the characters themselves, I thought each one had a distinct personality, I especially enjoyed the character of Dex, and he had that stereotypical mysteriousness about him but with an added element of surprise; he in the ended didn’t fully fit that mold. As for Perry which is the main character though like I said I really didn’t enjoy in the beginning made a small transformation that allowed me to see a deeper self of her and opened up a new dimension to where I actually begun to understand why she was like she was.  But there was one character that fell a little flat to me that I wish I could have been privileged to learn more about; Uncle Al. I felt that he could have added even more to this story, I know he has a story of his own and perhaps if we could have seen just a little bit more into his past I could understand why he felt the way he did in this book but perhaps we’ll learn more about him in the books to come. As for the description in this book it definitely was there, there wasn’t too much but at times it got very descriptive to the point where I wanted the sun to come out or turn on a light, I know pathetic but the author did a great job at creating a picture where you couldn’t help but cringe. It was an enjoyable read; one that will keep you with the lights one.
Goodreads Summary:
Enter the world of the highly-acclaimed Experiment in Terror Series by visiting...the Darkhouse:
There’s always been something a bit off about Perry Palomino. Though she’s been dealing with a quarter-life crisis and post-college syndrome like any other twenty-something, she’s still not what you would call “ordinary.” For one thing, there’s her past which she likes to pretend never happened, and then there’s the fact that she sees ghosts. Luckily for her, that all comes in handy when she stumbles across Dex Foray, an eccentric producer for an upcoming webcast on ghost hunters. Even though the show’s budget is non-existent and Dex himself is a maddening enigma, Perry is instantly drawn into a world that both threatens her life and seduces her with a sense of importance. Her uncle’s haunted lighthouse provides the perfect catalyst and backdrop for a mystery that unravels the threads of Perry’s fragile sanity and causes her to fall for a man, who, like the most dangerous of ghosts, may not be all that he seems.

Last Thoughts:
I would recommend this to any fan of ghost stories and to those of you who enjoy mysteriousness and darkness, this definitely satisfies anyone’s craving for a book full of ghosts and mystery. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who don’t enjoy ghosts and stories that could in a way be confusing if you weren’t actively reading at certain parts; though to be honest there were only a couple of those scenes. One thing I did enjoy about this book was the title; I thought it fit the story so perfect and it was so clever and creative at the same time. It really just brought the whole book and story together. I really did enjoy this book and look forward to reading other books by this author.

A Book Never to be forgotten

First Thoughts:
There are a few things you must understand about this book to really enjoy it, one being the fact that it takes an avid reader, you can’t just half be reading this to grasp it’s true beauty another would be the fact that there is a lot of description, the author described almost everything in this book but to me it wasn’t over the top, the description in fact help me grasp exactly some of the things that were going on. Another thing you need to be aware of is the fact that the sub-plots are just as important as the plot, they help build a more solid and understandable plot. So with that being said you can see that this book is unique in itself and though it might take a bit more of an active reader it has a lot of hidden beauty within. The description in the book like a said is plentiful but it has to be there without it half the beauty of this book would disappear. The author did a good job on describing both the characters themselves and the landscape around them. Another thing I enjoyed about the description was that it seemed realistic to the story itself, like perhaps if their world really could or did exist the description could be real in itself. As for the plot itself, it had plenty of rising action and subplots up to the point of climax and the climax itself was nail-biting, action packed to the point that you wanted to read as fast as you can just to find out what happens. As for the falling action and conclusion it was executed at the right pace and it satisfied all conflicts and characters. As for the characters themselves they were created very well, I felt that they were realistic and relatable; each one had their own personality to which the reader could connect with and distinguish from the other characters. As for the transformation of the characters, most of them did change in some small form but the most beautiful transformations had to be that of Ben and Gabriel, both of them were nice to watch, seeing them go through something not so nice to something even I would envy was fun and adventurous. As for the story itself I thought it was unique and fun, this definitely is a book I’ve never read before and the whole idea of the demon under London was genius. Some flaws I found within the story would be the beginning, though it started out with action and introducing the main idea I found it hard to read, like I kept drifting away but as soon as I got past it I was able to read at full force and finish the book in a reasonable time. One other flaw I found was that at times too much happened, I felt that a couple of scenes were too chaotic and were hard to follow but after reading it awhile I was able to adjust and understand what needed to be understood. I did enjoy this book and would be interested to know that perhaps the author could one day continue this story.
Goodreads Summary:
A powerful demon has been trapped under the city of London for over 300 years. Now, however, malevolent forces are at work in the 17th century, planning to unleash terror and chaos on the world. Two rival secret societies the Liberati and the Praesidum - are caught in a battle that threatens to destroy the city and its unknowing inhabitants.
When a truant schoolboy, Ben, finds a scroll revealing the location of magical seals that bind the demon, this throws him into the center of a dangerous plot that leads to the Great Fire of London. Ben must overcome his own problems - fear of failure, desire for revenge, guilt over his parent’s deaths - if he is to protect the city, and confront the evil demon.
As the plot unfolds, a little more of the mystery about Ben s own past and his parent’s deaths is made known. Ultimately, Ben and his friends must combat sorcery, defeat the evil Liberati and destroy the demon if they are to save their city and themselves.
Last Thoughts:
I would recommend this book to fans of historical fiction, though I haven’t read much books classified as this I have read some and this is definitely high on the list in that category. I would also recommend this to people who enjoy reading about demons; it has its own special twist to it and is unique in itself. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who don’t enjoy religion and to those who don’t enjoy reading stories that take place back in 1666. Though I found this book quite enjoyable and a nice fun read it’s not for everyone, I think it’s a matter of giving it a try to see if it’s the one for you or not. This book was a great read and found myself reading even faster once I got to around the 30 percent mark, just know if you get there you will most likely be hooked. I enjoyed the authors writing style and found it quite unique to where it had its own voice.

Spicy and Inspiring

First thoughts:
From the first page I read I was hooked; I couldn’t put it down, my thoughts and mind only on what was going to come next. The words twisted back and forth as I tried to figure out the mystery, to solve the big conflict and though at times I thought I had it solved I was proved wrong. It wasn’t really till the end where I finally figured it out but by then I was already through most of the book and put through so many trap doors it isn’t even funny. The pace of the book is one I would consider fast, there weren’t many slow moments it seemed like there was always something new introduced and thrown our way. The description in this book was the key, I felt that the author described the setting really well, New York is definitely a unique and powerful city and I believed that the author was able to grasp onto it and add into both character and description that is believable. I also felt that it was just the right amount, I didn’t think the author described too much or too little. One of my favorite descriptions in this book was Shawn’s condo. The condo itself in my opinion really described the whole character of Shawn, just by the description alone I could tell exactly what Shawn’s personality was going to be, something that may appear to be nothing on the surface but something as beautiful as the sun in the inside. I thought this book almost had a vantage feel; like every place they went to had a spark of old history in it but glossed over with a more modern paintbrush. As for the characters themselves I would say that they were as lively as you and me. I felt that he really accomplished the task of creating characters like you and me. I felt more connected with the characters because they were put in situations that were very much believable and realistic. Also the characters did transform in this book some; though not every character changed they did add key points to the story to help better the other more prominent characters. I thought that the biggest transformation had to be of Shawn; he was such a deep and unreachable character for most of the book but then Kristina brought to the surface a part of him that he hadn’t been privy to sharing at any earlier moment; not even to the reader. The plot itself was planned perfectly, there were moments in rich the conflict almost got the best of the characters but in the end overcame them and by the time the climax arrived everything after that was only tying up loose ends. This definitely was fast paced and to the point where by the last page I was both shocked and surprised to find the book at the end. The romance in this book was definitely high notch, though the story didn’t necessarily resolve around love it did have a sub-story of it and helped draw in more conflict and action. There were scenes in which the intensity of the romance was high but was executed greatly. I thought the author did a good job on transitioning the characters in the scenes in which the love between them was at the fullest and though there were small amounts of adult material it was done with class. Also this book did have limited curse words but I found them to be more a part of the character than the author. Without the curse words I believed the characters themselves to be lacking. Some things I really enjoyed about this book were the scenery and overall execution of the story. Even though this is by no means the most creative work of art I did believe it to be eye-opening and touching. To learn about something that most people keep hidden in the darkest corner of their homes was amazing, it’s not a topic that is widely talked or written about. Some possible flaws I found were some grammar and misspellings in the book itself like spelling “Dinner” “Diner” but it was too often enough to distract me from the story itself and therefore had no problem overlooking it. I also believed that the end was perhaps too rushed, I thought that it could have blossomed more; perhaps see Shawn and Kristina travel some or have a more drawn out conclusion. But in the end I loved every second of this book; it’s a book that can be read fast (I read it in a day) and it can also be a stepping tool on learning not only about an important issue but also about something that hits close to homes to the people around you.
Goodreads Summary:
New York City socialite Kristina Sutherland, the daughter of legendary Lawson Sutherland, a top executive with Lyon International discovers she’s pregnant, but doesn’t remember having sex for a long time. While contemplating an abortion she bumps into and confides in Shawn Davis, the head of security at Lyon International and asks him to take her to an abortion clinic out of the city for consultation, making him promise to keep any details in confidence. While she realizes she needs him as a bodyguard to keep the press away and guard her privacy she also knows he has a loyalty conflict due to his position in the corporation. Shawn provides security to the company elite and their families. Desperate, she knows no one else to turn to that she trusts.
Shawn is the secret grandson of Brent Lyon, the chairman of the board of Lyon International. After Brent asks Shawn to come to his office they talk about their past and how Brent regrets his earlier decisions. Brent had disowned his daughter, Shawn’s mother when she ran off with a want-to-be rock star. She had raised Shawn on her own until she died a few years earlier. Brent had invited Shawn back into his life only after her death, and only to a small degree which had to remain a secret to avoid scandals which could ruin the corporation.
Last thoughts:
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a more realistic story and also to those of you who are suckers for romance. I wouldn’t however recommend this to anyone who is sensitive to romance (there are some use of language and scenes close to sex) and also this is definitely not for anyone who by any means is uncomfortable about rape and a story of true woes. This definitely tackles a serious issue and is a great mystery at the same time. This really reminded me of a great old detective story, I felt that it touched base with some of the old detective techniques and helped bring the old back. It was an enjoyable read it is easy to fall in love with the storyline from the very first sentence. This was the first book I read by the author and cannot wait to read any other works by him. This is definitely an author to keep a look out for because he’s easy on the words and his style is both stunning and captivating.

Emotional and Dark; a Rise in the Creep Factor

First Thoughts:
The summary of this book intrigued me, I felt that it had potential for both a creepy and thrilling feeling and I was right. Throughout this entire book there is like a dark haze holding over everything, and with that comes an emotional rollercoaster. At many points in this book I felt my heart ache alongside Lyla’s, it made me feel angered and then happy. It was like I never got a break on just one emotion; they interchanged like clockwork and by the end I was both physically and mentally drained and while some people might find that a negative aspect I absolutely loved it! I loved that a book could even do that, to make me feel. What I enjoyed the most had to be the description itself, I felt the author was able to grasp the scenery of Salem; such a famous and historic city. And while I’ve never been there and didn’t even know much about it except for the Blaire Witch trials I felt by the end of the book I knew more; like perhaps I was taught history without the boring factor. And the description also was just the right amount, like when it came to describing both the scenery and the characters I felt it wasn’t too much. I’ve read some books where the description was just so overwhelming; too much but this wasn’t one of them. The story itself was intriguing and action packed. Though I wouldn’t classify this as a thriller per-se I would say there is quite a bit of action, spread out just evenly enough to allow the slower and less intense parts to blossom. I really loved the idea of the story though it isn’t all completely fresh there were parts that were created from a world of pure imagination. And the conflict between the characters weren’t always by the book either; I felt that the tension between certain characters had a new feel about it and that it created a whole new depth to this book. As for the characters themselves I felt that they were all full of life, there were of course the more minor characters that didn’t feel as real but every book has that, not every character deserves the lime-light. But I really thought the characters that were of the most importance in this book each had a distinct personality and I felt that if put into reality they could really be someone. As for the plot in this book it was right on track, every point was hit and even though the conflict wasn’t fully solved it was enough to end this first book in the series. I felt that the ending was really dark and fully explained, like it foreshadowed or hinted at what was to come but didn’t reveal exactly what was going to be involved in the process of solving their problems. Another thing I really enjoyed about this book was that the fact that the love wasn’t rushed, it had bumps and realism to it; like they knew they were attracted to each other but was unsure of how to proceed further. And while I do enjoy book where characters fall in love quickly (Just recently started to enjoy this due to some author’s execution of it) a lot of books can’t pull it off; they make it feel so fake. So I really enjoy books where the love is more fore-longing and complicated in ways that each and every one of us could relate to. Some issues that I had potentially found were the fact that some of the scenes seemed disorganized, like perhaps things were forgotten and characters proceeded forward without put into consideration of something previously happening; but to be honest I think it was on purpose, perhaps the character themselves were trying to forget. One other thing was that at times I felt the character reacted wrong to certain situations like if you were put into that situation you would feel different but also in the end you must consider that each and every one of us reacts differently to certain situations and this character is a person in itself so I really didn’t have a problem with that either. But I really enjoyed this book all around, the feel and haze it had throughout the entire book had me staying up way past the moon’s rising.
Goodreads Summary:
Lyla Mercer’s life changed the moment her dad was murdered, and again when she heard that she could be next. Forced to move to Salem for safe keeping, Lyla soon discovers her family has a dark history in the small town, and when a glossy black moon appears on the back of her neck she becomes newest part of that legacy. Her family is marked and being hunted, but Lyla may be the weapon they need to survive. Lyla attempts to ignore the danger, pretending to be normal, but whispers and rumors follow her everywhere. She thinks nothing can ever be normal for her again until she meets Caleb, the minister’s son, and the absolute wrong boy to be dating a witch. He’s everything she wants to be, just a normal kid from a normal family. At least that’s what she thinks, but nothing is as it seems in Salem. Caleb has secrets to keep about his family that rival her own. Until recently, her father's murderer has managed to keep his true identity a secret, but when Lyla uncovers the truth about him, nobody is safe, especially her.
Last Thoughts:
I absolutely enjoyed this entire book, I loved the description the best and how all of the ideas were presented thoroughly and I never once got confused. I would recommend this to any person who enjoys a nice dark feeling book and to those who have a passion for the elements and the use of Wiccan. Also I would definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys a good book to read on a rainy day, this definitely has the right elements to compliment the weather. I was fortunate enough to be able to read over half this book while it was raining; it was perfect. But I wouldn’t recommend this book if you’re seeking a thriller or a hard core romance; this isn’t like that. Though there is romance throughout the entire book and it does play a key element in this book the main ideas and plots don’t revolve around that. In the end I enjoyed every second of this book and cannot simply wait for the second book, “A History Renewed”. This is definitely an author you need to look into and check out; this is exactly the kind of book that gets looked over too often.

Get Ready! Coming February 1, 2012....

First thoughts:

At first glance you wouldn’t think much of this book, to me it seemed just like any other Young Adult book but I read it anyways, determined to read it to the end. And well from the first chapter I was hooked, I was surprised at the intensity it started out as; this author definitely didn’t hesitate to dig into the action. I liked the fact that even though there was a love triangle going on it didn’t bother me. It was like this love-triangle was different than all of the others. For one the love was definitely there but there were so many outside sources against the whole thing. And also the characters themselves didn’t seem to want to be in it, it was like their heart was in it but everything else screamed to get out. So I guess you can say that the love-triangle wasn’t some mundane run out idea but new in itself. One of the best assets this book has was the characters themselves. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read books and the characters were their downfall, the idea and description could be the most wonderful thing in the world but if the characters lack life the book isn’t worth the effort or energy. But this book was head on, the characters were full of life and fire. They transformed so much in this book especially the “Bad” boy Raven and even though he’s still the “Bad” boy we were able to see a side of him I assumed we wouldn’t get to see. Also the concept of the book was interesting, the concept of Halflings was intense and new, I will admit I’m not schooled on the history of Halflings but I do know a little and the fact that we were explained the history and how they came to be was excellent. This book lacked no detail to information, I felt that I wasn’t left confused; like the author explained her ideas clearly and if one part was left shady she would later in the book paint it in bright colorful colors. As for the description it was really good, she did the best on describing the characters themselves, all the vivid colors and angles were perfect. As for the plot it was good, there were a few places that were a little off to me but it didn’t take from the book. But by the end of the book I was wanting more, the last sentence was the most powerful line in the book to me; I really thought she summed up all that happened in the book with those few words. As for some issues I found in the book there were a few, the fact that the main character was a little off to me in the beginning don’t get me wrong she was definitely full of life but it was like she was contradicting herself, like she couldn’t make up her mind about certain things and I didn’t particularly enjoy that. Also I thought at times the pace was set too fast, like there weren’t enough down time. I always found things happening one after the other and though they were clearly explained I felt the characters didn’t have enough time to really grow. Where some transformed remarkably others were left behind, I would have loved to see more of Vine for instance. But in the end all of these things are trivial compared to the book as a whole.

Goodreads Summary:

After being inexplicably targeted by an evil intent on harming her at any cost, seventeen-year-old Nikki finds herself under the watchful guardianship of three mysterious young men who call themselves Halflings. Sworn to defend her, misfits Mace, Raven, and Vine battle to keep Nikki safe while hiding their deepest secret—and the wings that come with.

A growing attraction between Nikki and two of her protectors presents a whole other danger. While she risks a broken heart, Mace and Raven could lose everything, including their souls. As the mysteries behind the boys’ powers, as well as her role in a scientist’s dark plan, unfold, Nikki is faced with choices that will affect the future of an entire race of heavenly beings, as well as the precarious equilibrium of the earthly world.
Last thoughts:

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who don’t enjoy a love triangle; even though this one is different I don’t think it’s really going to make you particularly happy. Also this isn’t for people who don’t like reading about angels and though this in no ways digs deep into the religion there are small parts mentioned. But I would recommend this if you’re willing to try something new, this definitely does have some fresh parts to this. I would also recommend this book if you enjoy a face paced action packed romance novel. This definitely has all the elements to make for an enjoyable read. I definitely will be continuing to read this series; it is yet another book that has left an imprint on my mind.

A Must Read; Coming February 28, 2012

Yes, I know it’s been a week since my last post but with the holiday and Black Friday it was all I could do to just keep up the energy. But anyways here’s my review, I know it's really long, bear with me, there was just so much to say about it.

First thoughts:

OMG! This was the most amazing story; this is definitely one of my favorite series period. The talent this nineteen year old withholds is enormous, she has created complex and dynamic characters and landscapes, and they seem so real and tangible. At times I have to convince myself that I'm not there, that the world I’m submerged in isn’t real. The story and plotline were aligned perfectly with the conflicts and characters. The characters were more real in this book; we were able to see more of them, to see things that we hadn’t been privileged to know in “Legacy” the first book of this three part trilogy. The characters were still complex and real, there wasn’t one character that really fell flat to me, I believed they all had a distinct personality and each one had their own role to play. As for the writing itself it flowed smoothly and without a hitch, the only issue I could find was that some of the chapters ended too abruptly, I thought they were forced and should have been divided differently. The description of this world was amazing; I was able to see every last detail of the scenes, it was so beautiful and wonderful to experience a book where I didn’t have to work hard to imagine, it was very much described to the tee but the best part it wasn’t too much description as to tire you. It was described the perfect amount and the description helped you better understand the story. The dialogue was just as good as “Legacy’s” it was believable and realistic, I didn’t feel it to be fake or off in any way. As for the length of this book it is about 500 pages but they went by so fast for me that by the time I finished the last page I yearned for more. The story itself is so intriguing and different from what I’m used to reading in the young adult genre. It has a hint of paranormal but not enough to really classify it as such. It’s so beautiful and fresh that it inspires me to seek the same in my own writing. As for the issues they were very much minimum, there were some parts of the story in which some of the characters took a turn I hadn’t been expected, I yearned for them to act like they normally would but when you’re dealing with what they are I guess there’s a point where you would change and that’s exactly what happened in this book. I have to admit this book had a darker feel to it, especially near the mid-point and after, I felt the drape of dreariness and remorse, so much happened in this book, so much that I had to read slowly to absorb it. At times I felt tears dripping down onto my hands and was surprised that the book had touched me in that way. The author definitely has a way to connect the reader with the characters themselves, the bonds you feel with them is just as great as the ones you have in real life.

 Goodreads Summary:

Only I saw Narian for who he truly was: a young man with courage and an independent mind, and made to pay for what was outside his control. He couldn't help his past any more than he could help the way those intense, deep-blue eyes pierced me and held me captive.

For Narian is destined to conquer Hytanica at the behest of his master, the powerful magic-user known as the Overlord. Faced with the greatest betrayal a heart can know, Alera must set aside personal feelings and lead her kingdom through its darkest time. And when all hope, will and courage seem lost, she must find strength and remember that even the blackest night must have a dawn....

Last thoughts:

This is definitely a book to pick up and read, something that prevented me from finishing a book I was already reading. I would recommend this to any “Legacy” fans this definitely fulfilled my expectations and more and I’d recommend this to anyone who hasn’t even given the series a try, it’s best suited for people who love fantasy and romance. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who isn’t a fan of fantasy or that of books that resolve around palaces and kingdoms. If you didn't enjoy the first one I don’t think you’d enjoy this one any better but there was a lot more to this story that might pipe your interest. I’m still reeling from the fact that the maturity of this writing is coming from such a young author, it just goes to show you age doesn’t matter.

An Intriguing Storyline

First thoughts:

At first glance you might not think there's much to this book, it looks like a simple read, one you can just quickly read and move on. But it isn't, the depth to this book was really good, the story itself was intriguing and worth the effort. I really loved the fact that it wasn't all action, I liked how the tension and action slowly built up, it gave the reader time to understand the situation and question things that were going on. The characters themself were filled with personality and depth, they each had distinct characteristics. The main character especially, I could see that she had her own thoughts and ideas on the view of her world. To see her grow and slowly understand herself was really fun, not all stories offer you that. Some things I had problems with is the fact that it moved at times TOO slow, and I was at times a bit confused on exactly what was going on. I felt that I was withdrawn from the story and presented new material I didn't understand. but around the mid-point it slowly changed. The story definately picked up, the character started to change and things were explained. The description in the story was really good, I thought she captured the life of New Orleans, I've never been there but by the way she described the different places the characters visited, I felt that I was actually there. Like that perhaps I had taken a short trip and was introduced to a new city. And slowly as the story progressed I was able to connect with the character, I was able to understand her line of thinking and therefore understand some of the well to midly put it stupid moves she made. But the more you look at those stupid moves the more you realize that they weren't really stupid in the in; they were just a decision or move that was made based on her inner-being. This book had a great action packed ending, that left me both impressed and satisfied.

GoodReads Summary:

Maggie is unaware of the terrifying fate that awaits her. It isn’t until she lands in New Orleans for a full year at a private high school and her unknown enemies find her does she realize that her life is in danger.

As a mystifying stranger repeatedly intervenes and blocks the attempts on her life, she begins to learn that there is more to him than his need to protect her and that he may be the key to understanding why her enemies have just now arrived.

Last Thoughts:

So in the end I found this book a great read, definately a book you'd want to pull out on a rainy day. The concept of Angels in this book was in a way unique yet also sticking to the same playbook, it was like a mutated form of ideas. The relationships between the characters is something we'd all want and as for the romance it's both breath taking and nail biting. At certain parts of this book I found myself emotional; on the verge of tears. It was definately a book I'd recommend to readers who love angels and to those who enjoy a good romance and suspense. I wouldn't recommend this to those who don't find joy in reading books that build-up to the action and to those who don't like characters to fall in love so easily. But in essence the two characters had a lot of struggles to go through and it makes the romance a little more intense and likeable. But I can't wait to see the transformation in the next book and to see what becomes of the beloved characters.
