First thoughts:
Sigh, how can I possibly sum up all the great things about this book? I think my favorite part of this book was the writing itself, it was written so beautifully ans so original. The cover itself really sums up the point of the book and conflict and it was beautiful all the way around. The concept itself was really cool and this is yet another book to be added to the favorites shelf!

Yet Another Inspiring Angel Book....
First Thoughts:
I'm so glad that I risked reading this book. It was a wonderful and fast read for me. I've been fascinated with angels for quite awhile now. So when I come across an angel book I question to read it and I so chose to read this one. It really was fun to get inside the characters minds and experience along side Raea what it's like to be thrown from your normal life into something much more different than you could ever imagine.
Summary:
This is about a girl who lost her mom and stepfather when she was five, her mother gave her a crystal to guard and keep and told her never to lose it. When we come into the present and Raea is a senior in high school we see how much she's dealt with and how she interacts with her friends. Raea is living a normal life living with her aunt and counsins but when things start getting wierd, terrible headaches and the same dream over and over again she starts to question her life. Elis the "wierd guy" at school seems to be able to soothe her headaches and is watching her afar which creeps Raea out even more but Pallin a new "foreign" exchange student shows up at school and has eyes only for her. Soon Raea discovers her true idenity and must fight alongside Elis to not only advoid the danger that lurks withing her town but the Nina who has eyes to expose her...
This short book is packed with plenty of action and suspense....if you like angels I recommend you read this so that you may open your eyes to another creative world of the unexplained.

Yet Another Fantastic book by Chandler
First Impression:
What do I say about this book?! I absolutely loved it just as much as the fist book. This was a turn pager for sure and couldn't help but keep reading. Ugh! I'm still thinking of everything happened, there was definately a shocker in here! It really had such vivid detail, and such loveable characters...there really isn't anything that I hated about this book because everything that these characters went through, had to happen.
Summary:
Tristan has moved to the beyond and Ivy has Will now, who are trying to be in a relationship. Beth, Ivy and Tristian along with Kelsey and Dhanya have all gone to Cape Cod for the summer to work at the inn. Ivy, will and Beth went to help heal from the incidents from last year. But just as things were getting settled Ivy and Beth get in a car accident and Ivy dies...that is until she is brought back to life by her one and only true love Tristan. When Ivy wakes up in the hospital she feels an even deeper longing for tristian and knows that maybe the love she has Will goes only so far. And then she meets this mysterious guy who can't remember anything but he's covered in cuts and deep bruises. Together Ivy and "Guy" try to discover his past while her own life starts to slowly unravel.
Last Thoughts:
In this heart pounding sequel, you'll find more of Lacey, the Angel that helped them in last the book, you'll find love, and a deeper understanding on how much a person would be willing to sacrifice for her love. I absolutely adored this book and can't wait for the next one to come out, because there HAS to be a next one! Chandler created yet another masterpiece and I give this book 5 stars!!

This book was on Fire!!
First Thoughts:
Ah...what do I even say about this book?! I have completely fallen head over heels for it. The character's build up was fantastic, it was a thrilling read. I found it very hard to put down. The writing was just as amazing as the plot and I can't wait till Goddess Interrupted comes out. Ugh! AMAZING. Greek Mythology used to just be a second thought but lately it's been more than that, I love it and this book just made me love it even more. The playing of ideas and creating these God's and Goddess's to be something different then we percieved them. Carter gave these character personalities and looks that were very believeable. And I found that there were many twists and turns that I hadn't expected. One thing is for sure this is the start of an amazing series that many will soon grow to love.
Summary:
Kate Winters is moving from New York to her mothers childhood home all because her mother is dying from Cancer. Kate is devastated, she has abandoned all chances of a social life to care for her sick mother but she was fine with that because the bond between the two of them was more than some silly life. Absolutely Lovely!
Vespertine was very well written. I loved the syle of Mitchell's writing and how descriptive she was. The words she chose and the time period fit perfectly with her plot/storyline. I loved this book and ended up reading it quite quickly, savoring each pages as if it would disappear too quickly. The story itself was very unique and found myself suprised at certain points along the plotline. This book invloved alot of relatable situations and found that this very well could have been real. I for one believe in higher power.
In Vesperine Amelia had everything until the visions came everyday at sunset. She say visions of things that were going to happen and it frightened her. She's sent away in the beginning of the story to find a suitable husband, but as her visions progress the more intense her life becomes. People beg of her service, asking her to tell them their future and so she does. She becomes friends with the girl she's staying with, they become very close and she herself finds a man she loves; Nathaniel. But as the visions began to change from sweet and innocent to vicious she's put to the test on what to do and how to keep her world from falling apart.
This novel was fantastic and I gave it 4 and a half stars. Mitchell definately knows how to write. Her ending was well formed and I loved how all the questions we had filed in our head through the book were answered, leaving the reader full and satisfied. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for Mitchell.
Burn Angel, burn!
Angel Burn to me was very unique. I found the Weatherly did a fantastic job on creating a world where the characters were put to tests and thrown into situations that were very hard to get out of. This first installment of the angel trilogy had me on the tips of my toes. There was action, love, suspense, and suprises. All of these elements make for a fun read.
Willow is yanked from her world when and angel assasin recuses her from the very creatures she half part of. The angels world is dying and are foced to come to earth to do their bidding and to feed off the life energy of the inhabinants of earth(humans) leaving them sick and dying. With thousands of angels heading to earth in separate waves there's not much time to stop them. But Willow's the answer. She's half angel and therefore has a unique form of an angel and with her she's the secret weapon to destroy the angels. But how does she? And who's going to help her? These are the questions the reader wants to know and only Willow with the help of the assasin assigned to kill her can answer these questions along with the help of others later down the road.
This book definately had me wanting to read more and the writing itself was very well done and found very little errors. The only part I didn't like about this was, some parts were just a little wierd for me but in the end I can't wait to read more and see what else she had in stored for us readers.
I give this book 4 and half stars!

A Wicked start to a new series!!
Wicked woods takes place in Wicked MA, where Briony is sent to her Aunt's Inn due to the disappearnce of her parents and brother. She soon finds that the Town of Wicked is full of mysterious things and after being saved by a mysterious boy named Fallon she soon discovers that the town of "Wicked" might just be that 'wicked'. She makes new friends at her new school and soon grows closer to Fallon and right when she thinks life is finally getting back in order Fallon reveals to her something about himself that might just tear her world apart. This first installment in the "Wicked Woods" series is packed full of action, suspence and a little bit of romance. There's one thing for sure, once you enter the world of Wicked Woods, there's no turning back.
I loved the development of the characters, seeing them introduced and grow a little in the book was very good. I loved Fallon, his name alone is quite mysterious and interesting, I mean wouldn't you after hearing a name at that. swoon? And Kevin the one who shows up at the resteraunt where Briony works is mysterious himself. There's one thing for sure, I love Gow's writing and sense of beauty she puts into her work. I give this book 4 and a half stars and I can't wait to read "Shimmer" the second installment in the "Wicked Woods" Series.
